This weekend they are going to Granger for several days to visit another son, Donald Jensen and family. 1 The past week Mr. and Mrs. Orson Manwill have enjoyed their twodaughters visiting with them. Mr. and Mrs. Val(Erma) Green came from Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Bud (Ila) Jorgensen came from Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones several of their friends visited Sunday at the home of Naomi Davis. They are from Downey, Idaho and were on their way to Kanab and Las Vegas for a week vacation. and Sunday Feb. 9th the family of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kei-smet at their home in honor of Mr. Keisels 72nd birthday. Several types of fish fossils were found, the larger one being a gar fish which was in the Green River formation, accord- ing to C. Fredrick Lohrengel 11, instructor at Snow College, A smaller pink fossil, which is related to the perch family, is also among the discoveries made by Mr. Peterson. Professor Lohrengel stated that the fossils were some 55 million years old, and explained River formation that the Green . . rock unit is the same unit in which oil shale is found. Lake Greenriver had its western and southern edge some 30 miles from this area.
