Manti High tennis team disappointed in cancellation of BYU Invitational By Wilbur Braithwaite Due to schedule conflicts, the annual BYU Invitational Tennis Championships were recently canceled for the year. This was a disappointment to all of the schools involved. The students at Manti will be voting on Friday April 26th. The candidates this year are Nate Johnson and Kacy Blackham for president, Janna Bateman and Jenny Lyn Keisel for vice president, Lisa Anderson and Sharie Stewart for secretary, Angela Wendell and Emily Jackson for activity agent The candidates will be campaigning throughout the week of Each candidate will April have a chance to speak during announcements and to serve milk during lunch Friday April 26. They will each give a speech during the Election Assembly. Friday night there will be a dance an 22-2- A i 6. FBLA nouncing the winners of the election. The upcoming freshmen are invited to this dance. May 18 is the Utah Centennial Clean-u- p Day. The state will be involved in this special cleanup to keep our state clean. Manti High School will be participating and would like anyone who is interested in helping, to contact Amy Baker or Becky Allen. The Manti High School Drill Team will be doing a special Flag Ceremony on Saturday, May 4th. Senior SlufT will be held on May 15. All seniors are invited to go.
