Warren Benincosa worked to coordinate a new youth Rotary program called Interact. Interact has about 20 members, comprised of youth who attend the Sanpete Academy. These students have contributed time and effort to help Hispanic youth leam English by reading to them and recording books on tape. They also helped collect food and clothing for the food bank. Their biggest project, though, is a project. This involves refurbishing bicycles which will later become gifts to children of needy families next Christmas. Rick Bartholomew has worked to oversee the student exchange program, coordinating two Sanpete youth in their studies in Mexico and Finland. His family also hosted a student from Finland who attended Manti High School for much of this past year. Lynn Schiffman headed up the clubs sponsorship of the Sanpete Food Bank this year. With the help of his fellow Rotarians, Mr. Schiffman was able to supply more than $2,000 in necessity items to the food bank.
