R Barton Prelude and postlude music was by Jane Braithwaite Musical numbers were given by Caroleen Mackey and Lily Jane Miller and Jane Braith Braith- waite walte Speakers were Clement Miller Elliott Braithwaite and Wilbur Braithwaite Prayers were offered by R R. R Morgan Dyreng and Gerald Carpenter Interment was in the Manti ManU City Cemetery Alma Peterson dedicated the grave Those in attendance from out of town were Mr and Mrs Jack Baxter and family of Phoenix Mr and Mrs Dell Harris of Salt Lake City Mrs Irs R R. T Hansen and Mr Walter Thorton of Monroe Mr and Mrs MelvIn Melvin Melvin Mel- Mel vin Hancock of Spanish Fork Mr and Mrs Max Peterson r ti tir tir r r Y Alice Ann Mackey of Salt Lake City and Mrs Pamela Thomas and relatives of neighboring towns Alice Allce Ann Mackey was born In Wales England En England England En- En gland in the year 1888 on March 21 21 She was the daughter of William and Ann Lewis Harry She had four sisters three now deceased and four brothers brothers brothers broth broth- ers all deceased Mr Harry and was a mechanic by trade when the family emigrated to America in the year 1888 Alice was six months old They located lo located located lo- lo in Scofield Utah where her father worked as a mechanic for the Utah Fuel Company About 1896 he was called to Manti ManU to work for the Morrison Mine She lived in Manti and Sterling area ever since Alice Ann married Henry Mackey July 15 1908 at Manti He passed away June 13 1951 She is survived by her children Don and Glen Mackey both bothof of Manti ManU and a daughter LaRita LaRita La- La Rita of Scottsdale Arizona grandchildren Mrs Rae D D. D Baxter of Phoenix Mrs Joyce Noble of Manti ManU David Glen Donald Tom and Dale Mackey of Manti ManU eight great l- l dren and a sister Mrs Mamie Reid of Manti She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Lat Lat- ter-day ter Saints and has lived an honorable life in the com com- She was friendly hardworking hard hardworking hardworking working and devoted her life to her family and set an example of honesty and integrity Her home was her castle She spent the past year with her daughter LaRita in Arizona |
