Show Wayne Pioneer Dies At Manti Mant I George Brown Rust 90 a pioneer resident of Wayne county and the Uintah Basin died Jan 24 at the home of his daughter Mrs Alma Pe Pe- Pe terson He suffered a stroke while living at Talmage Duchesne county two ago and had lived in Manti the past year and a half He had been bedfast the past six months Mr Ru Rut Rust t was born Oct 31 1856 in a dugout near Spanish Fork a son of George S S. S and Eliza Brown Rust He experienced many of the hardships hardships hardships hard hard- ships of early days in Utah and in pioneering new country He married Melinda Elvina Roberts in the Logan temple Dec 21 1887 They lived for many years in various communities in Wayne county and later moved to the Uintah Basin He had been active in church and civic work and had served in bishoprics in various places for a total of 38 years and had also held offices in different auxiliary or organizations organizations organizations or- or of the church Surviving are his widow 8 sons and daughters Rand O.
