opened up a anew anew anew new vista of life for thousands of people who want to see what lies over the next hill Mr Byam once said To place the great wide world at your doorstep for you who yearn to Ifo travel with all the comforts of home This rally was the largest of its kind ever held There were 2590 Airstream trailers of var varr various various ious bus sizes i es from 16 feet to 30 feet in length These accommodated accommodated accommodated over persons and it was estimated that the 2590 trailers represented a retail value of well wen over 13 million dollars The trailer of each member of the Club is assigned a number number number num num- ber which must be displayed on the front and rear of the trailer as an identifying mark The trailers were parked in a large rectangle on a a. a were represented represented represented by floats and appropriate appropriate appropriate costumes Prizes were awarded to the three best floats Many Wyoming and Laramie officials were invited tl to sit in the reviewing stand stared with Club Officers Also ATso on Sunday July a beautiful church service was held in the field house This was attended by about Protestant Caravan members and was conducted with such dignity and beauty that made it very impressive the Horn Horn- state A well trained choir of 50 Caravan members dressed in blue and white robes rendered several numbers num num- bers Four ministers of various varIous various var var- ious faiths two from the Caravan Caravan Caravan Cara Cara- van Club and two from Laramie Laramie Lara Lara- mie conducted the services The offering taken produced over which was given to four Laramie charities One of the outstanding daily events was a hU huge e Hobby and Art Show attended by Cara Cara- and local towns peo pea pie Here lunch lunch- eons held during the Rally by members of the various Caravan Caravan Caravan Cara Cara- van groups who had traveled together in their Airstream trailers to many points in in inthe the United States Mexico Canada Cuba Central America Panama Panama Panama Pan Pan- ama Europe Africa and one that went around the world in 1964 The were members members members mem mem- bers of the very
