On Wednesday morning last a number of the merchants of SanPete met in the City Hall at Ephraim, to take into consideration the organization of a Merchants Protective Association. Speeches were made by a number present on the subject and on motion a resolution was passed that it was the sense of the meeting that such an organ-zatio- n should be perfected.
