Rumor has it that Mr. Fred Willis of Salina recently teceived word that a party of D. & R, G. surveyors would soon arrive in the country, t,.ke up their headquarters at Salina and begin active work preparatory to the commencement of gruding, etc. Mr. Willis, however, states that he has rec ived no definite word about surveyors, but that the late visit of Messrs Kimball Goss and others was to determine which would be the more practicable, a line through Salina Canyon, or one via the Thistle summit in this county.
