Fairview, Utah, to Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cash. They moved to Pleasant Green (now Magna) in 1906, where she has since resided. Mrs. Turner attended Hawthorne, Webster and Cyprus Schools. She has been active in the LDS Church all her life, serving in many positions. Mrs. Turner has been a Pythian Sister for 49 years, filling all the offices in subordinate and the Grand Temple of Utah, and represented the Pythians in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1940. Mr. Turner was born in Baltimore, Md., June 28, 1899, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Turner. Sr., where he attended schools before coming to Utah in 1917. He served in World War I, joined the LDS Church in 1933 and has since held a number of positions. He worked for the B&G Railroad from 1918 to 1964 a period of 47 years. He was local chairman for nineteen years of the B of FL&E, retiring in 1964. Since retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Turner have traveled throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and Alaska. They have a mobile home in "Mesa, Ariz., where they spend the winters, doing temple work. Mr. Turners favorite hobby is fishing and Mrs. Turner is known for her handwork, particularly sewing. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Thomas greeted guests downstairs and Mrs. Jack Gillett was in charge of serving. Assisting were Pat Smith, Dena Peterson and Doris Hansen. A prenuptial party was given by Doris Barton, Shawna Barton and Karan Barton. The newlyweds honeymooned at Jackson Hole, Wyo., and the Tetons. Mr. Barton left July 28 for Fort Hood, Tex., for specialized training in the service of his country. The new Mrs. Barton is a graduate of Cyprus High School and enrolled at the Utah Technical College in a nursing program. She will continue her studies. ON HONORS LIST BOULDER, COLO.
