Glen Worthington's Davis High boys, though playing steady consistent ball, did cot seta this to cope with the brilliant passing and shooting of the Magna team. The Cyprus boys scored tbe first basket, after a speedy and totally unand quickly followed expected sinkd it up with another er before the Davis farmers had entirely recovered from the first basket. Davis, forged to the front bf scoring two baskets, making the score even, and from then to almost the half, the affair begame was a tween tbe two teams. After the half, the Cyprus boys quickly scored again, and retained it. Pihrson. Rigler and Harkness were easily the outstanding players on the Cyprus team. Pehrson was up to tiptop form, and seemed to have an un- cannily accurate eye for tbe basket from any angle or position on the floor. Though Turpin wa in only a short while, he also played very good ball and showed excellent fornf. No one player on the Davis team was outstanding, though their offense was exceptionally good. From all indications, the Pirates have one of the strongest, speediest little teams around this region, and a surprising upset will more than likely be in the cards for tlie veteran slate tournment Bingham Basketball team.
