Both attempt to imitate the Southern California stereo-type- s worse than the teenagers from 90210 could imagine. The story sets the Hollywood Rottenfellow family against the newly transplanted Clem family, featuring Jack Drayton, who plays a respectable Jeb Clam, and Mary Parker Williams as Granny, who is at her best, and the most fun to watch during the limited stage time she is given. The romance and repoire between Granny and Grandpa Rottenfellow, played by Desert Star mainstay and director Scott Holman saves this show w ith their comedic timing and expression and makes it worthwhile for those in the audience. "Her example is just as important today in the lives Saint of young Latter-da- y artists," Oviatt said. After years of research, Oviatt, fascinated by Well's life, wrote the show that shows the woman as being vulnerable and sensitive despite the strength she continually showed to others. "The play has affected my one-wom- an life dramatically," said Oviatt, who had to overcome years of illnesses that at one time left her in a wheelchair and prevented her from acting. Oviatt used the examples of Wells in her own life to overcome personal illnesses and set goals.
