We pay a special tribute to Mrs. Evan (Edna) Jones with five young children. Her life is busy, creative, sometimes productive maddening, but never dull. Wife of an understanding, delightful teacher, she is called on to do many things. One sees their children in school and church in fresh ironed clothes, hair combed, curled and always present. Her patience in listening to three of her children practice piano daily is commendable, and in her quiet way she takes these daily tasks in her stride. Would our pioneer mothers be worn out with her daily routine? Candid Comer is proud to pay respect to mothers like you, Mrs. Jones for the example that young mothers can be busy and still have a "lovely way of living.
