The high spot, William Larson has 186 and the next five place are Just one pin apart with Fred Rich 185, P. McCleve 184, B. Albean 183 and Bill Mayberry 182. According to statistics, the Utah Copper bowlers are far better than average. A score of 156.4 is the National average and in the local league there are 90 over that average and only 46 below which compares right nicely. Local Youngsters All Boys In This Vicinity Invited To Attend Free Sessions The American Legion Junior Baseball school opened Wednesday evening at Cyprus High school with thirty boys in attendance. The turn out was slightly disappointing to Lee 8elf, who is conducting the school, and a last call was issued by him for more boys to attend the class next Wednesday evening. Each boy present pledged himself to bring at least one other boy to the next meeting. The class is open to boys between the ages of 10 and 17 years from Granger, Hunter, Bacchus, Garfield and Magna. Parents of boys who come within this age limit, are urged to have their youngsters attend. The School will last for six consecutive Wednesdays at Cyprus school beginning at 7:00 p. m. On Utah Copper club smoker nights the class will begin at 6:00 p. m. This week's special guest speaker was ML J. Mick Scanlon, a veteran ball player and umpire of many years.
