Brigadoon is the story of two young New Yorkers who get lost during a hunting trip in the Highlands of Scotland. As they are contemplating their fate, a lift in the Highland mist reveals to them the awakening of the village of Brigadoon, a village that comes into being for only one day of each century. What happens to them, the conflicts of the people and the beauty of a romance that must span centuries, makes for an enchanting and poignant evening. The music is by Frederick Loewe and the book and lyrics are by Alan Jay Lerner, Brigadoon has been called a masterpiece of a musical. The increase will cover the 1977 phase of UP&L construction work in progress in the rate base and 1977 inclusion of an allowance to normalize the tax effect of accelerated depreciation. Both of these accounting procedures were approved by the Utah commission in its order of March 4, 1976. Arron has two sisters, Kristin and Alisha, and one brother Eric to help welcome him home. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Archibald, Salt Lake City, are also grandparents to the children. The Lights Program being used Out in the Kearns 17th Ward is helping the children to know that those missing from Primary are missed by classmates and teachers. Dalene (Mrs. Carl) Hankins is very pleased with the effectiveness of the program. Mrs. Hankins is the Primary President of the 17th Ward. To make the program work each teacher makes personal or phone contact with those on her rolls that werent present. She finds out whether the child was sick or if he just forgot Primary for the day. Then extends an invitation to attend her class the following week. The teacher then calls her Primary counselor to say she has accounted for each of her students. The counselors in turn report to the Primary President. This is all accomplished before 9 p.m. in the evening on Primary day. This added effort on behalf of the teachers is increasing the total number of children attending Primary.
