Lowe, city building Inspector, Inspect-or, la mailing out notices to prospoc-ittve prospoc-ittve builders, Informing them of the requirements of the city ordinances on the matter of first procuring a permit before proceeding to build any kind of a structure whatever In Logan Lo-gan City. The following extract from the city ordinances will give the prospective pros-pective builder the requirements of the city: Section 4. Statement ' and Plans Permit to Construct Building. Before the erection, construction or alteration altera-tion of any building, or part of any building In this city within the Are limits, or of any dwelling or business block outside of the Are limits, is commenced, the owner, or his agent or architect shall submit to tho Inspector In-spector of buildings at his office a detailed statement In writing of such proposed erection construction or alteration, or when plans are mado, a full sot of the plans of such proposed pro-posed work, togother with the full name and residence of the owner of such building. Said detailed statement or plans shall be kept on file In the office of the Inspector of buldllngs until the proposed work Is completed. And the erection, construction or alteration of. said buildings or' tiny part thereof shall not be commenced or proceed ed with until such statement or plans have been approved by the Inspector of buildings. If, upon consideration of such detailed de-tailed statement or plans, It shall appear to the inspector of buildings that the manner of erection, character charac-ter of construction and kinds of materials ma-terials are In accordance with this chapter, and that the means of Ingress In-gress and egress are sufficient, the said Inspector shall thereupon grant a permit to make such construction or alteration. Action on all applications appli-cations shall bo taken by said building build-ing Inspector within flvo days after same are filed. |
