Show INFLUENZA ! IMPROVING I 1 At a meeting ot tho City Board ot Health yesterday It was decided to keep tho ban on closing for at least until Monday, Nov. 25. I j We would be taking chances on losing all we have gained through tho restrictive measures if we rescinded re-scinded the closing o'rder nt this I , ,' . - time. - -a - I We hope the public will digldly odhcro to the restrictive measures,-and measures,-and will carefully exercise every possible pos-sible personal precaution. I This does not mean that well people peo-ple should not go out and do their shopping. We believe that the disease dis-ease has subsided to the extent -to where it is perfectly safe to go Into the business district and shop. Recommendation Rec-ommendation is however made by the Board of Health that the clerks wear masks while waiting on customers,, custom-ers,, and that customers wear maska while Inside stores: The quarantine on families suffering suf-fering from influenza will continue to be rigidly enforced, so that Infected Infect-ed or exposed persons will not be found In the business district. We see no reason why stores' should, not- now advertise, sales If they so desire, provided tho above regulations are strictly complied with. |
