Logan can be leached about next Tuesday, and Mr. Loucks was lieie to ascertain whether or not the people of tills city and county want these men to come hero and hold three meetings on that- day. On Mr. Loucks arrival Wednesday evening, which w;is somewhat unexpected, unex-pected, a few of the members of the Commcicial Club were reached by 'phone and a preliminary meeting-held meeting-held at the club rooms. A temporary organiat Ion was effected by the election elec-tion of Mayor Robinson chairman, Joseph Knowles vice-chairman and F. A Mitchell secretary. Mr. Loucks then gave a brief history his-tory of the Good Hoads organization, indicating Its extent and purposes and set forth the coming visit of Pres. Moore and his stall. The proposition as he set It forth was that these gentlemen gen-tlemen would come to Logan and hold three meetings If they were guaranteed guaran-teed their expenses, about $150, their talks to be along the education of the people to the good roads Idea. Those present at this meclng did not feel prepared to guarantee this amount, and a meeting was called for Thursday morning. At this time a large number or ivresentatlvc men were present to listen to Mr. Loucks and It was do I ltd then that this offer would be.accepted. Moore and Illustrated by stercoptlcon views. Throughout the program there will be good music. The people of this county can not afford to remain away from these meetings.
