Show A Joint Resolution Proposing An Amendment to Section 9, Article VI, of the Constitution of the State of Utah, Relating to the Compensation of the Members of the Legislature. Bo It enacted' by tho Legislature ol the Stato of Utah two-thlrds ot all tho members elected to each of tho two houses concurring therein: Section 1. That It Is proposed to nmend Section 9, Artlclo VI, of the Constitution of Utah, so that tho I samo will read as follows: H 9. Unt 1 otherwise provided by law, B tho members o( the Loglslaturo shall H rccclvo eight dollars (18.00) por day H and ten cents por mite for the dls- I tnnco necessarily travelled going to H and returning from tho placo ot meet- Ing on tho most usual route, and shall I recclvo no other pay or porqulslto. I Section 2. Tho Secrotary of Stato ' I Is hereby directed to submit this pro- I posed amendment to tho electors ot H tho State at tho next gonoral election H in tho manner provided by law.
