Show Mrs. Larsen Dead. Estimable Woman of Third Ward Has Been Laid to Rest. Mrs. L. C. Larsen, of the Third ward, died Sunday morning after a lingering Illness from dropsy and Iirlght's disease. She was 57 yeais of ago at her death and had been a resident resi-dent of Logan for forty three years. Mrs. Larsen was promimently Identified Iden-tified with tho Relief Society work, having been Picsldent of the Third ward organization for eighteen years. Sho was a most highly lespectcd woman wo-man whoso death will be slncerly regretted re-gretted by tho large number of friends she has made. Mrs. Larsen was a native of Denmark, Den-mark, having been born there May 1, 1848. She joined the Latter-day Saints there and came to Utah In 18GJ. She came on to Logan and was familiar with all tho hardships Incident Inci-dent to the early settler's life In northern Utah. To her havo been born ten children, of whom six, with the husband survive her. Tho funeral service was held i ester-day ester-day afternoon at which several persons testified to tho deceased's many excellent qualities. |
