Mr. Thatcher expiessed the Hi; belief that occasions of the kind Bl should draw us near to the Lotd and Bfli each other. It is impossible with our Hv finite minds to grasp the beginning to Bl. the end. The numerous friends of the BH deceased woie shocked to lea in of his death. Death is inevitable and can not be cadcd and therefore cannot be received as a calamity by those who have hope In the future. Conditions Con-ditions of tills kind draw the heart-stilngs heart-stilngs to their limit. Our Divine Master suffered all things, passed thro the ordeal of death. Ho lived a useful career, was clean and honorable, none more so. While not as religiously inclined as some, he had faith in tho religion of his parents. Some poisons sink so low that they arc Induced to take their own lives In order to blot out and remove the thought of their past lives. This never can be done. Whether our works in life aio for good or evil we must meet them, thcrc-foic thcrc-foic those who commit such acts, instead in-stead of getting relief, Intensify their evil doing. Performance of duty in life brings sunlight and joy In our Ihcs, which lllls us with new light and hope. When wc leave here we aie not going Into nothingness, the associations of life will not be forgotten. forgot-ten. 1 know that we shall live in the woild to come, and will have thc same traits and dispositions that ue have here Life is typical of heaven. The love existing in families is the most divine and will be perpetuated hereafter.
