Show Chantril Fuueral, Though Thk IlicruiiLiGAN noted-the noted-the death of Mrs. Anlcc Preston Chan-trill Chan-trill at Benson last week an account of the funeral service was not secured as desired, and a brief account is given at this time for tho benelit or distant friends and relatives. The funeral service took place oi Thursday of last week at 12 o'clock, the Benson meeting house being tilled with the friends and relatives or "Aunt Anlce" as she was called. There were many floral offerings anrj many expressions of sincere grief at the golpg of this splendid woman. A t tho service Brother Dowdle, of College, Col-lege, Hon. Moses Thatcher, of Logan, and L. It. Martlncau, of Salt Lake-city, Lake-city, spoke In great praise of the deceased de-ceased and praise of her could not b?-too b?-too great. Her associates loved her for Her innumerable good qualities, and were pained to have her go. Mrs. Clmntrill was a Virginian bv birth, coming from Bedford countv. She was a sister of Bishop W. B. Preston, Mrs. Farmer, of Denver, and Mrs. Markham, of Virginia. At the time of her death shs was past fifty years of age and had lived In this, vicinity fully thirty years. She left two sons and one daughter grown and &- a kind husband. The remains were StSsSJA Interred at the Hyde Park cemetery. P J- |
