Chrlstcnsen acting act-ing as chaplain for the evening. Two Funerals. Two sad and Impressive funerals were held here Sunday. The llrst was" over the remains of the twin babies, a boy and a girl, of Mr and Mrs. L. Edgar Merrill. They both died after a long and severe caso of cholera Infantum, In-fantum, tho little boy passing away Friday morning and tho little girl following fol-lowing on Saturday morning. All that could be dono for them by loving parents and kind relations and neighbors neigh-bors for several weeks oast was faith fully carried out, but all to no avail. At the funeral service consoling words were spoken by Dr II. K., Alonzo, T. II. and Amos Merrill and B. A. and A. D. Hendricks. Mrs. Julia Itrightaud a choir sang most touchlngly, "Your Sweet Llttlo Rosebud Has Left You " Interment was made In the city cemc-terv. cemc-terv. The second funeral was that of llye-day's-old Floyd llalr, son of Henry and Etta Hair, who died Sunday morning. morn-ing. Tho little one was apparently In perfect health up.to Saturday evening, when It took a crying spell and was not pad lied until late In the night It took another spell a short time after, from which It did not recover Lester Balr and Bishop Merrill were the speakers at this funeral.
