Show Legislators Dissatisfied Dis-satisfied With Conduct. A number of members of the Utah legislature visited the State Reform School at Ogden unexpectedly unex-pectedly last Sunday, and express ex-press themselves as being dissatisfied dis-satisfied with its present statu s. i!o criticism is made on Superintendent Super-intendent Allison, but the visitors visi-tors were convinced that the methods employed in "reforming" "reform-ing" the incorrigible youth of the State are entirely ineffectual. The restrictions imposed go beyond be-yond the bounds of wholesome restraint; there is no solid preparation prep-aration for usefulness in after life; there is nothing to arouse a healthy ambition, and, worst of all, there seems to be no suitable outlet for the restless activity natural to youngsters of both sexes. Aside from these criticisms, the school seems to be conducted as well as is possible with xhe means at hand. Little dan be done without a largely increased appropriation.
