Member of Utah b Vt Constitutional Convention Dies ' Active Christiansen, Partly Pioneer Passes at Home ot Son in Logan Parley Christiansen, 72, died at 4:30 this morning at the home of his son, N. W. Christiansen, 215 Boulevard. He had suffered for sometime with heart trouble. Mr. and Mrs. N. are now in W. Christiansen Europe, and Mr. and Mrs. Parley Christiansen were making their home with their son, who u f S a to leaving for Europe was prior director of the Logan high school band and Instructor of instrumental music. Mr. Christiansen was an active worker in the upbuilding of Utah particularly the section embracing Sanpete county. Parley Christainsen, son of Niels C. and Dorthea Dahl Christiansen, was born Dec. 7, 1857, at Salt Lake city. The family moved to Ephraim when he was just a babe. While a young man, he assisted in hauling materials for the St. George, Manti and Salt Lake temples with ox teams.
