Mr. Francis Hawkes' of the Second ward, one of Cache Countys pianeers, and a highly respected citizen of Logan, passed away ,yes terday afternoon shortly before oclock. Death was due to inflammation of the bowels, and his illness was but a . brief one. Mr. Hawkes was a native of England having been born in that country on April 2 1S30.
