in 1984 Salt Lake of City cancer He was born Aug 1924 10 in a son of Charles Rudolph Sr and Bertha Doney Lowe Johnson He married Alice Mae Dennis Oct 7 1944 They were later divorced He then married Barbara Hatch Pella Sept 28 1963 in Elko Nev He was reared and educated in Logan and graduated from Logan High School and LDS Seminary He attended Utah State University For 20 years he was president and genreal manager of CR Johnson Transfer Inc of Logan and Brigham City He moved to Brigham City in 1968 where he worked at Hill Air Force Base for 20 years retiring in 1983 as a traffic management specialist He spent 18 months at Hahn Air Base in Germany as base traffic management officer from June 1981 to December 1982 He was a member of the Logan Jaycees and the Logan and Brigham City Chambers of Commerce as well as the Elks and Eagles in Brigham City He served in the US Army in Europe during World War II He was disabled during the war and became active in the Dis- Logan abled American Veterans serving as commander in Logan for three years He was a member of Brigham City 7th Ward Surviving are his wife Dennis Johnson Charles Rudolph Johnson III and Mrs Ronald (Christy Jo)
