The Weber Warriors clung to second place, one game ahead of the Grizzlies and one game behind the Ogden Tigers, by downing 48 to 34, while the Tigers remained undefeated by trouncing Bear River 39 to 25 Thursday won the feature Preston night. tilt of the conference so far as thrilling contests are concerned when they eked out a 28 to 27 victory over South Cache at Box-eld- Hy-ru- May Tie As the games stand at present the Grizzlies stand an excellent chance of tying for second place, providing they defeat the Spart-as ans at Logan next Friday, Ogden ranks as a favorite to win the title by downing Weber on the same night. Should Weber lose they must play Logan with the winner entering the tourney as the runner up and the loser playing South Rich for a post. Allen Otterbeck and Garr Thompson, forwards, led the Grizzly attack on the Bulldogs Friday, scor ing 13 and 10 points, respectively, while Hendricks and Johnson played outstanding ball for the Bulldogs. Preston held a lead of 15 to 11 at half time and 20 to 16 when the third quarter closed. Bradshaw, Kohler and L. Maughan were outstanding for the losers. Nip and Tuck Affair The game was a nip and tuck affair through the first half, the Warriors going into the intermission with a slim lead of 22 to 18.
