Show TV THE HERALD JOURNAL. PAGE EIGHT. -- LOGAN, UTAH. FRIDAY, MARCH 11, 1 932. H Big Fight Activities Outlined For Arena Cards Dern Returns to Ring Here Saturday Night BY OTTIS PETERSON The fight business Is looking up. night, Starting with Saturday Promoter Dick Quinney has lined a most up appetizing spring sports schedule that should bring a big c rowd to Allen's arena every week. The change from Thursday to Saturday night was made in answer to popular demand from fans who like to take their entertainment over the week end. IIMSBY IN HEADLINER Ira Dern, big shot of the wrestling ring, will start the program off right with a per. soiial appearance in the Logan arena Saturday. Charlie Frisby will he his opponent in a finish, two out of three falls, encounter. Next on the program for Saturday will be a little argument between Mike Savich and Dean Detton. This should be n very 'savich affair if allowed to go the full hour with two falls to win. Bill Longson and A1 Dawson will tangle in a 45 minute one fall con while Lew Nelson and Arthur Hedin will exchange grunts and grimaces for 30 minutes In another one fall match. HU) SURPRISE NEXT WEEK Then next week come- s- well, w told Professor Quinney we wouldn't let the eat out of the bag bat it will be plenty interesting. VVutch next week for the Herald-oJurnfurther announcements or better yet. listen to Quinney tell about it from the ringside Saturday night. To cap it all, it begins to look ns though Ira Dern and George Nelson may get together in that long awaited "grudge" match before the season is over. Both boys are plenty tempermental and laying down all kinds of conditions before they will meet but with Quinney as peace maker and official doormat, the two may get into a ring together before the season is over yet. This writer cares little which one wins but after the words that have been going back and forth between the two, they should put on a mighty battle.
