A. and Josephine Lindquist, who came to Logan in the early sixties. N. A. Lindquist engaged in the manufacturing of furniture, he being a talented cabinet maker. About 1885 he entered the undertaking business. Ilia son G. W. assisted his father in this business from his early youth up until the time of his fathers death when he assumed the management of the business. A short time later he disposed of the furniture and devoted his time to that of the undertaking line, which he has continued from that time till the present. lie received his education in the district schools. He has fulfilled a mission to Sweden during the years of 1892-9laboring in the Stockholm confluence. Mr. Lindquist has served in practically every position in the church from President of the deacons quotum to first counsellor to President Cardon of the Cache Stake, which position he now holds. He was a member of the city council at the time the city electric plnt was completed. At that time he acted as president of the city council. He also served one term as a member of the first city commission. Mr. Lindquist has been associated with the city government and is familiar with the business thereof. - Wm. C.
