R. w, MARTIN, Advertising Manager OTTIS PETERSON, Managing Editor Almost without exception, year after year, a celebration in Logan is occasion for trotting out the national colors as street decorations. Some citizens are beginning to think it is time this city adopts some distinctive form of street emblem that would reflect the community through having the qualities of unusual-nesappropriateness and timeliness. There are those in Logan who think some color combination could be chosen advantageously and some flags, crescents or streamers made that would give the city an air of being different at holiday time, on festive occasions, or during the county fair. The sentiment is prevalent in some quarters that the national colors are coming to have an usage here for decorative purposes. One prominent Logan business man has expressed the opinion that a start might well be made of some municipal street decorations more suitable for general use than the constant unfurling of emblems fashioned in the national colors. For the first time in a number of years, street decorations in the business district took on a new form when Spanish colors were used on July Fourth to lend a Latin aim isphere to the Espanol Fiesta, the major feature of the celebration on that day.
