I.undstrom buying the first service book from an unemplojed salesman under a new plan started in Logan by Manager Ernest Earl of the Eiiestone Service Stores Inc. novel stunt to aid the unemof Logan has been inaugurated by Ernest Earl, mi.nngsr of the Firestone Service Stores, Inc., whose super service station Mam is located at 310 North street More than 14 unemployed Logan men, most of them heads of families, are busy selling service coupon books entitling the purchaser to special discount priviliges at the Firestone station. The books arc given away free of charge to the unemployed who are to sell them for 23 cents each This pur-- i base price is refunded to the purihaser on his first buying tnp to tho Fuestone station. For instance, a ear owner buys a service book for 25 cents. The purchase pru e goes in 'its entirety to the "unemployed" salesman. The next time the buyer purchases gasoline, oil, tires, tubes or any accessories at the Firestone station the service honk purchase prne, 25 rents, is refunded to him if he presents the refund coupon from the set vice book. Mr. Earl explains that in that way the service hooks with their valuable coupons are absolutely free of charge to the purchaser and m reality the Firestone Stores are paying the unemployed 25 cents for delivering a service book to an auto owner. Mayor A. G Lundstn n purchased Book No 1 from Moroni Hanson, one of the unemployed Logan tnmily hcHds who arc in selling the books.
