Following the reading of the protests the commission referred them to City Engineer C. T. Barret for tabulation. The city fathers decided to go ahead and ask for bids at the next meeting Tuesday evening. According to Mr. Barrett the cost of the proposed sewer district is estimated at $8500. The financial condition of the city was also discussed by the commission at the meeting. Although figures were read and no changes were discussed made in the budget or appropriations made. The commission feels that the financial condition of the city is in good shape, considering the circumstances. This year, according to a financial report made by City Auditor H.
