Show THURSDAY THE LEHI SUN, LEW. UTAH APRIL PAGE TEN Mrs. Darrell Westover is spending a week in Gunnison with her parents. She left for the bedside of her mother, who is ill. Mrs. Howard Brown was a Salt Lake City visitor last Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Her mother, Mrs. Geo. Smith returned home with her after a visit of several days in the city- Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hammond Ham-mond and sons, Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the Vernon K- Nielson home. The Nielsons also enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Meeks Halli-day, Halli-day, Lake Shore. Dinner guests at the T, R. Bray residence, Friday, was an old friend, Bishop Clarence J. Hogan of Lyndell, Utah- Mr. and Mrs- Edwin Circuit, Salt Lake City, and Miss Bertha Ber-tha Carson, Ogden, were week end visitors at the David H, Carson home. Mr- and Mrs. Myron Burgess and family, Salt Lake City, spent Saturday here with Mrs. Burgess' parents, Mr. and Mrs Junius Banks. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cesario were conference visitors at the T. R. Bray home last Wednes day. Mr. Cesario is in the ward bishopric in San Diego, Calif- Lt. and Mrs. Leo Carlton and son Bruce, of San Bernardino, Calif., are visiting in Lehi with Lt. Carlton's mother, Mrs. Julia Carlton, and in Murray with a sister of Mrs. Carlton, Mrs-Keith Mrs-Keith Shanley. Mrs. Julia Carl ton is delighted to have all of her nine children in Utah at the present time. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin B. Adams and children, Salt Lake City, were Sunday visitors at the home of Bishop and Mrs. E. N. Webb- Also present in the family group were Mrs. Alta Webb and son Jack of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. John Grogan, Boulder City, visited from Thursday to Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs- Leon Peet. They came especially to attend the funeral of Mrs. Alice Peet Roberts, sister to Mrs. Grogan. From Los Angeles, Calif., came Mr. and Mrs. Howard Curtis and children, to attend the fun eral of a sister of Mrs. Curtis, Mrs- Alice Peet Roberts. They were accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Betty Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Ray L- Allston of Salt Lake City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Allston's mother, Mrs. Edward Southwick, and at the home of Mrs. F. A- Hunger, a sister. Mrs. Charles Crabb entertain ed the members of the "Just a Mere Club," at her home last week, honoring her sister Mrs. Joseph Wanlass, visiting from Monroe. Others present at the luncheon were Mrs. Joseph Lambert, Mrs- Mary Strasburg, Edith and Carrie Strasburg, Lottie Gray, Gladys Nielson, Irene Whimpey and Adele Fox. Enroute to their home in Bancroft, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Moser visited at the Vernon Ver-non K. Nielson home- They attended conference in Salt Lake City, after spending the winter months in Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Nielson accompanied them to Salt Lake City for a visit with Mrs. Iris Dalley, a sister to Mr. Nielson, and baby at the LDS Hospital. The child is re-c re-c e i v i ng surgical treatment there Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Goates and family of Parma, Idaho, were conference visitors at the home of Mr. Goates' twin brother, Bishop Warren L. Goates, and also at the home of Mrs- Melba Clark, a sister. Mrs- Alice L. Phillips and other oth-er family members here enjoyed enjoy-ed a visit from Serg. J. Lopper, a nephew of Mrs. Phillips', of San Francisco, Calif. Mrs. George Strasburg enter tained at luncheon last Wed nesday afternoon for Mrs Joseph Wanlass, visiting here from Monroe- Other guests included in-cluded Mrs. Charles Crabb and Mrs. Mary Gurney. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McAfee and son Jerry, LaMeda, Calif-, are visiting at the home of Mr, McAffee's mother, Mrs. Nettie McAfee and other relatives and friends; also with Mr. and Mrs, Irving Johnson of Pleasant Grove, parents of Mrs. McAfee. Sunday callers at the Vernon K- Nielson home, were three nephews of Mr. Nielson, Von and Jay Nielson, Provo, and Ferrell Nielson Vallejo, Calif. Ferrell entered the mission home in Salt Lake City, Monday, Mon-day, in preparation to serve in the Danish Mission. Visitors at the Morris Holm-stead Holm-stead home last Sunday were Mrs. Lillian Spencer, American Fork, a sister of Mrs. Holm- stead, and Mr. and Mrs- J. W. Stratton, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Stratton is also a sister to Mrs. Holmstead. Mr. and Mrs. David Carlton and son Jimmy Lindwood, Cal., are visiting with Mrs. Julia Carlton, his mother, and other relatives here. They are spend ing some time in Sprlngville with Mr. and Mrs- James Curtis Cur-tis (her parents). George Clover returned home Tuesday after a visit of several days in Salt Lake City, with friends and relatives. Mrs- Wm. Dunsdon entertain ed at a family dinner Friday. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hay (Dion) of Ogden; Og-den; Ray Dunsdon, Salt Lake City, President and Mrs. Frank C. Kimball (Lela) of Washing ton, D. C-, and their daughter Lela D., Miss Ha Dunsdon and the hosts. The group spent an enjoyable evening with Mr. and Mrs. Gam Dunsdon and family in Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bonel were Friday evening guests at the Charles Crabb home. Mr. and Mrs. R- C. Miller, formerly of Oregon, are now making a home in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Miller will attend at-tend school. Mrs. Miller is the formerly Lillie May Carlton of this city.
