Hunter celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Thursday evening, Dec. 2, with a family dinner party at their home. An elegant arrangement of Amerl can Beauty roses centered the table around which were seated the children and grandchildren of the couple. Mr. Hunter, the son of Eben- ezer and Alice Parker Hunter was born in American Fork, April 25, 1879. Mrs. Hunter, who was Josephine Larson, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, April 25, 1879, and came to Utah at the age of eight years, settling with her parents in Pleasant Grove. They were married Dec. 2, 1898, In Pleasant Grove, at the home of the bride with the groom's father performing the ceremony. After i living In American Fork for 16 years they moved to Idaho where they lived until 1930 when they returned to American Fork. Mr. Hunter has followed the occupation oc-cupation of farming. Mrs. Hunter Hunt-er has been an active member of the Relief Society, serving for many years as a ward teacher. They are the parents of eleven children, nine of whom are living. liv-ing. They are Clyde F. Hunter, Cody, Wyo.; Mrs. Lee (Alice) Daly, Kalispell, Mont.; Glen C. Hunter, Arco, Idaho; Verne L. Hunter, Draper; Mrs Roy (Norma) (Nor-ma) Rlska, Crescent; Mrs. Floyd Bennion-Riddle Wedding Reception Monday Night Vernice Jackson, bridesmaid. Their corsages . were gardenias and white carnations. Dick Balleau performed the duties of best man. For her daughters wedding Mrs. Bennion wore gray, and Mrs. Carl Rayburn, Cedar City, mother of the groom, was attired attir-ed in green. Their corsages were pink roses. Assisting in entertaining were Mrs. LeRoy Bishop, Provo, and Mrs. Reed Bennion, Salt Lake City, who had charge of refreshments; refresh-ments; Miss Bonnie Jensen and Miss Charlene Madsen, who cared car-ed for the gifts; and Joan Bish op, a cousin, Bcrneice Garlick a tTonno sr.hreiber. music euiu jjaiii-nv - students of the bride, who served. The new Mr. and Mrs. Riddle are now at home in Provo where both are music majors at the Brigham Young university. Smart In its simplicity was the wedding reception given Mon day night for newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Bruce K. Riddle who that morning had recited nuptial vows in the Salt Lake temple before President Robert I. Buron, great uncle of the bride, the former Lynette Bennion. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs. Parley J. Bennion. White chrysanthemums and roses made effective livingroom decorations and the lace covered dining table held a wedding cake flanked by tapers. For her wedding the bride chose a model' ' fashioned of heavy slipper satin with court train and a deep net yoke edged with pearl trim. Her fingertip veil of net fell from a crown of orange blossoms and she carried a single orchid and a white Bible cn which both their names were engraved. Mrs. Grant Bennion was matron mat-ron of honor, Mrs. Thomas Nelson, Nel-son, attending matron, and Miss (Emma) Privett, Mrs. Roy (Er-ma) (Er-ma) Woodcox, Kenneth E. Hunter, Hun-ter, and Donald L. Hunter, American Amer-ican Fork. Both couples were married by Elder Clifford E. Young in the presence pres-ence of members of the immediate immed-iate families. Elaine Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Miller, American Fork, was married to Donald C. Parry of Los Angeles. He is the I son of Mrs. Clara Parry, wno came to attend the wedding. Antonia Hernandez, Los Ange les, formerly of Salt Lake City, was united in marriage to Lyman Beck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvert Cal-vert Beck, American Fork. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andres Hernandes. The grooms spent two years together in the U. S. navy on the same ship and following Mr. Beck's release, in ApriL 1946, he has been employed in Los Angeles Ange-les and has lived at the Parry home.
