Sixty ladies were present from Spanish Fork, Provo, Orem and American Fork. Unique table decorations were used, two tables toeing decorated in keeping with a month of the year, and the decorating com mittee did an outstanding job. Appearing on the program were Lu Jean Bell and Joann Knight, who gave readings; Larry Lar-ry Miller, an accordian solo; a skit by Mrs. Guy A. Richards, Mrs. Ray Parks, Mrs. Willard Devitt and Mrs. Ray C. Nelson; and trio numbers by Mrs. W. W. Ricks, Mrs. R. G. Gardner and Mrs. Nelson, accompanied by Mrs. William R. Ellison. A buffet supper sup-per was served to 60 ladies. Pederson, Orem. 1 ' 4 ' Ift Funeral Service Conducted for Mrs. Mack Anderson Funeral services for Vivian Chipman Anderson, 46, were conducted in the Second ward chapel March 17, with Bishop J. Stanley Peters officiating. Mrs. Anderson died March 13 following follow-ing a short illness. Speakers were Joseph H. Storrs, Alpine Stake patriarch and former form-er Second ward bishop, Delbert Chipman. counselor in the Alpine Al-pine stake presidency, and Bish-nn Bish-nn Peters. Each spoke of their acquaintance with the family and gave comforting discussions based on the scriptures. Ray E. Shelley, accompanied by Mrs. Owen G. Humphries, sang the opening and closing numbers, "When the Sun Goes Down" and "Going Home", and between speaker Join Ellison and Margaret Morton, accom- nanied bv Janice Chadwick play ed Brahms "Lullabye" as a violin duet. Miss Chadwick also played the prelude and postlude. The invocation and benediction benedic-tion were "offered by Leonard . S. Harrington and Thomas S. Pri- day, uncles of the deceased, and dedicatory prayer at the grave side was given by Warren F. Anderson. The many lovely floral offerings offer-ings were cared for by members of the ward Relief Society and pallbearers were the brother and brothers-in-laws of the deceased. I".." ' . "T Utah state Future Farmers of America are meeting in the ann ual convention at the Newhouse Hotel in Salt Lake City Friday and Saturday of this week. Del egates from the American Fork chapter were selected at a meeting meet-ing held Tuesday. Je?s Bromley, president, and Lynn Harris, vice president, were chosen as, delegates, and James Hindley and Keith Smith, other officers, as alternates. Richard Chipman is a candidate for State Farmer's degree. Miss Joann Knight has been selected as chapter sweetheart and will attend the FFA banquet which will be held Friday night and will vie with other popular high school girls for the honor of state "Sweetheart." A. B. Allen, vocational agricul-v tural teacher, will attend the meetings with the chapter dele gates.
