Advertising rates furnished on request. Clubs and Socials Junior Ladies Literary Mrs. Ersal Fagan and Mrs. Glen B. Greenwood were cohostesses at the Fagan home to the Junior Ladies Literary club Jan. 8, for the first meeting in the new year. Following a business meeting Mrs. Wayne McTague gave an illustrated talk on the Hawaiian Islands. Refreshments were served serv-ed to 17 ladies. 0 Pinochle Mrs. Glen H. Gordon entertained enter-tained Pinochle club members Wednesday evening of last week. Cut flowers made lovely living room decorations, prizes went to Mrs. Keith Nielsen, Mrs. Clyde Birk and Mrs. Leo Bowen, and Mrs. V. Arthur Gordon was a special guest. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Klrkpatrick were hosts for dinner in their new home on north Third West complimenting Mr. and Mrs. Olin H. Ririe. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanley Peters and Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Chlpman. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin E. Monson had as dinner guests Sunday Niels Jensen and his daughter, Miss Agnes Jensen. East Lane bridge club members and their husbands spent a delightful evenine Dec. 27 in a progressive dinner. Ap petizers were served buffet style from a gaily decorated table at the Lennis E. Abel home. The main course was eaten at the Clifford E. Young Jr. home where the table was bright with New Year's bells. The next ston was at the home of the Robert Ballews where the dessert course was en joyed.
