Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) each, commencing commenc-ing two (2) years from the date of the Issuance thereof, solely from the net revenues of the entire en-tire electric light plant and system sys-tem of said City, and bearing Interest In-terest at a rate net to exceed six per cent (8) per annum, payable pay-able semi-annually, interest and principal to be payable at some duly designated bank or trust company, be Issued pursuant to Chapter 22, Laws of Utah, 1933, Second Special Session, as amended amend-ed by Chapter 74, Laws of Utah, 1935, for the purpose of defraying the cost of improvements and betterments to the present municipal mu-nicipal electric light plant and system of said City for the purpose pur-pose of more adequately supplying supply-ing electric light and power to said City and the Inhabitants thereof, the net revenues of the entire electric light plant and system after af-ter the construction and completion comple-tion of said improvements and betterments to be pledged to the payment of said bonds?" Carson made' a trip to Denver, Colorado last week, where they enjoyed a visit with their son, Junior, who has been transferred from the Northern States mission to the Western States mission. They left Wednesday Wednes-day and returned home on Saturday, Satur-day, meeting Junior In Denver. He was transferred on account of his health, but at last reports was feel-'ng feel-'ng fine. Junior first labored In Germany and when the missionaries mission-aries were sent home from Europe, he was assigned to the Northern states and for the past seven months has been laboring in Wisconsin Wis-consin and South Illinois. At present pres-ent he has been sent to Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Carson made the trip to Denver by way of train and drove home in tailor's automobile. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Taylor were present at the convention on Thursday and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Taylor attended at-tended the convention on Friday. The ladies were entertained at a bridge-luncheon at the Art Barn while the men attended convention sessions during the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Peterson are enjoying an outing at Fish Lake this week in company with Mr. and Mrs. J. Walker Caldwell ' of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hanson and son, Paul, spent last Wednesday and Thursday, visiting in Levan with Mrs. Hanson's mother, Mrs. D. Bosh. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Harris are proud and happy parents of a ten-pound ten-pound baby son, born Tuesday morning. Mother and baby are reported re-ported to be doing nicely. Miss Merlene Tew, who has been teaching in the Domestic Science department of the Lehi high school, is leaving Lehi and will teach at Springville during the coming school year, according to reports. Miss Tew's place will be filled by another an-other competent Instructor in this department. The visit of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Peterson of Boise, Idaho, has been the motif for numerous entertainments enter-tainments given during the week by relatives. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Bumell Bateman entertained at a dinner party in1 their honor. Sunday Bishop and Mrs. Linel Lar-sen Lar-sen entertained at dinner for them and on Tuesday they were entertained enter-tained at dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Odell Peck. The Book of Mormon class of the Lehi Third ward Sunday School, with their class leaders, John Hutchings and Winzell Swenson, enjoyed a party at the Cave Camp in American Fork canyon Tuesday evening. Nineteen class members were present and participated in games and sports and roasted wel-nies wel-nies and marshmallows around a bon-fire. Mrs. Hutchings, Ruel Evans and Leland Price also accompanied the group. Dib Otterson and Miss Beatrice Moore of Idaho Falls, Idaho, spent Tuesday night here with Mrs. Jennie Jen-nie Nostrom.
