V Mrs. Charles Carson has spent much of her time the past two weeks at the bedside of her mother, Mrs. Foutz, of Pleasant Grove. Mrs. Foutz is In the Lehl hospital where she Is receiving medical care. Rela tives and friends of Mrs. Foutz are hoping for her speedy recovery. Mr. W. C. Thomas of American Fork was a Fairfield visitor, Sunday. Hospital Notes A. W. Davis underwent an operation oper-ation for goitre at the local hospital hos-pital Thursday. Mrs. Howard Gray underwent an operation for the removal of her appendix at the local hospital Friday Fri-day morning. She is doing nicely. A lovely baby daughter was born i to Mr. ana Mrs. wiaia. American Fork at the hospital on Saturday. Mrs. Neldon Evans and baby daughter were removed home from the hospital Saturday. TEMPLE EXCURSIONS REPORTED During January and February, Lehl stake participated in three temple excursions as follows: First ward, 60 endowments; Second ward 21 endowments; Third ward, 98 endowments; Fourth ward, 118 endowments; en-dowments; Fifth ward, 82 endow ments. The total endowments for these three excursions is 379. Lehi stake's next excursion is. on March 20. Allen of Vineyard were visiting in Lehl on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Howard Gray, at the local hospital. Mrs. Gray underwent an operation for the removal re-moval of her appendix at the hospital hos-pital on Friday morning. Mr. and Mrs. - Herman Swenson and Mrs. James H. Gray visited Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Buckwalter in American Fork. They went to visit with little Lee Buckwal r, who had his tonsils removed the previous day. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Buchanan entertained en-tertained at a party at their home Saturday evening. The time was enjoyably spent in playing "Pinochle" "Pi-nochle" and "Five Hundred," after which a delicious hot supper was served. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. John Austin, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Hantaan, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hansen, Mrs. Julia Vaughan, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Holmstead, the host and hostess. Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock a group of Lehi stake Junior Genealogical Genea-logical members presented a splen did radio broadcast over station K O V O at Provo. Thirty-one juniors participated In singing and speaking. Miss Max ine Webb was the speaker and Miss Naomi Skinner, the piano accom panist. The station studio highly compli mentcd the group on their fine rendition. Next Monday at 2 o'clock the Palmyra stake will present a pro gram ever K O V O. Everyone is urged to tune in. The total number of people hearing hear-ing Genealogical discussion through this source is 680. These meetings are bringing Genealogy to many people and wards are urged to keep up this good work.
