Mr. Cameron was a friend of Mr. Fagan when they were boys and they had not seen each other for forty years. It was a real pleasant reunion for the two men. AMERICAN LEGION ELECT NEW OFFICERS At a meeting held Friday evening the local American Legion elected new officers for the ensuing year. Wallace H. DANCE FRIDAY NIGHT The Future Farmer boys of the Lehi High School are sponsoring a big turkey dance Friday night at :00 o'clock in the Dans Art and Issue an invitation to everyone to come oln In the big affair. Two turkeys will be given away, one for the best farmer costume and one for the best farmerette costume-There costume-There will also be four other prizes given for the best costumes. The Saltair Orchestra will play for the dance. They are considered very good and will draw a large crowd Come have a good time. The prices are small for the best dance of the season. o FD1ST WARD RELIEF SOCIETY SPONSORS DINNER The campaign funds for the erec tion of the new First Ward chapel gets away this week with a bang when the ladies of the Relief Society give one of their famous hot dinners tomorrow evening (Friday). Plans are rapidly moving forward looking to one of the best get-together knee under table affairs in history of the ward- A cafateria meal equal to a regular five course dinner wlil be served piping hot from the kitchen. Serving will commence at 6 o'clock in the eveningt to accommodate those who wish to attend the M. L A Institute at Pleasant Grove. For school children a luncheon es pecially prepared to the likes of the kiddies will be served during noon hour. A further attraction for the children will be the never failing fun maker, a fish pond where every ang ler hooks a prize. Make sure of the place, the First Ward Relief Society Hall; the time, Friday, November 22, and the hours 12 noon for the luncheon and from 6:00 to 8:00 o'clock for the dinner- o Lehi Daughters Of Pioneers Hold Meetings All four camps of the Daughters of the Pioneers of Lehi held their regular monthly meetings on Thurs-dav Thurs-dav afternoon of last week. The Evansville Camp met at the home of Mrs. Hazel Aiireo. mis. Porter and Mrs. Passey, county offi-ers offi-ers of Provo, were in attendance and gave talks during the meeting. The lesson was given by Mrs. S. J- Taylor and Mrs. Eunice Hutchings- Mrs. Sarah B. Adams read the life history of her father, B. W. Brown. Musical numbers included a vocal duet by Mrs. Eunice Hutchings and daughter, daugh-ter, Laurel, and ft vocal solo by Mrs. Hazel Allred, accompanied by Miss Clarice Allred- Later dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served to eighteen members. mem-bers. The members maae Provo People Entertain At Athenian Club At the meeting of the local Athenian Athen-ian club meeting held last Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. A. W. Davis, a splendid program was presented by entertainers from Provo. Pro-vo. Mrs. T. F. Kirkham was in charge of the program, which included in-cluded musical selections by Mrs. Harold Christensen, piano. Miss Ro-wena Ro-wena Christensen, violin and Miss Vernell Tiegen, cello; the reading of a three-act quake? play, vocal selections, selec-tions, "The Kechmeer Song." "Sweet Mystery of Life," "The Road to Man-dalay," Man-dalay," "Roses of Picardy" by Mr. Martin Iverson. According to members of the club the program was very splendid.
