Through it all we are still mustering courage to meet the future. The past year has been a big step forward and the coming year will, no doubt, have much greater prospects for us all. In our administration of the city business we have endeavored en-deavored to do our best for the good of all. We have tried to serve as we would be served and our hope is to so continue. They 'have asked Lehi City to co operate with them in the movement and the city officials in turn appeal to the citizens to do their part in shutting off all waste water. City officials are endeavoring to see that all wells not in use are capped and others cut down- In a letter received by J. W- Gill-man Gill-man of Qrem, member of the board, from H-. C. Jessen, engineer of the state advisory committee on public welfare and emergency relief, some of the drouth relief wells are still running full force, in spite of repeated re-peated warning to shut them off. A recommendation was made Monday Mon-day by Hilton A Robertson, chairman chair-man of the board, that Mayors and City councils of the county municipalities muni-cipalities take appropriate action to bring about capping of all wells within incorporated cities and towns. The co-operation of all farmers who own wells is sought with a view, of stopping the waste of un derground water at once- The state law gives the county commissioners Jurisdiction in closing wells during the non-irrigation season, located outside of cities and towns- Citizens, let us cooperate with our city 'and county officials in this water saving and do our part in re storing and keeping the needed mois ture for our next year's crops. It is vital that we all do our part. Lehi Lumber Co.
