The Primarj officers and teachers teach-ers of the Second ward entertained Thursday evening at the home of Miss Carrie Strasburg, in honor of Miss Oleve Klttlnger, a bride of this week. Miss Klttlnger was an officer in the organization. Varicolored Vari-colored spring flowers decorated the entertaining rooms. A variety of games were played and a delicious luncheon served. The lesson les-son on the first 24th of July celebration cele-bration in Utah was written by Mrs. Gladys Peterson and read by Mrs. Laura Schow. Mrs. J. E. Saturday afternoon a miscellan eous Bhower party was given in the First ward Relief Society Hall in her honor. Hostesses of the affair were Mrs. O. L, Klttlnger, Mrs. A. J. Broomhead, Mrs. Arreva Armit-stead, Armit-stead, Mrs. Hyrum . J. Jones of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. H. Alvah Fitz gerald and Mrs. Leroy Davis. The afternoon was gayly spent in games, a program and other entertaining features. Mrs. Broomhead was Mistress Mis-tress of Ceremonies and Mrs. H. P. Jones conducted the games. The program included two piano selections selec-tions by Miss Alta Stoker, a reading read-ing by Miss Phyllis Armttstead, a contralto solo by Miss Alice Kirk-ham Kirk-ham of Salt Lake City, a harmonica harmon-ica duet by Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. James M. Klrkham and a bass solo by Mr. Elmolne Klrkham of Salt Lake City. , ... , A prettily-appointed luncheon was served to fifty guests. Many lovely gifts were presented to the guest of honor.
