West State Street, Lehi lations is due to her intuitive know ledge of human nature. No greater asset can be thought of than the ability to read mankind, and this be mg a special gift of women and especially trained minds, makes the woman's role in public relations one of great importance. Inasmuch as we are to deal with women, who would be the most suo cessful? The solution of the nhifm is very easily answered. Women understand un-derstand women (and they under stand some men), therefore they en joy greater success through this knowledge of women. For instance. in the use of electric- appliances the woman Is the one to be satisfied, for she is constantly usinsr them. ShA sians wun tne electric range and toaster In the morning, and probably during the day uses the automatic wasner, tne vacuum, the iron, and many, other electric appliances, and during the cold weather enjoys the comfort of the electric heating pad, Even though the electric appliances such as the range, washer, re,friger-ater, re,friger-ater, and iron have reached such a siaie oi penecuon, tney will not serve to lighten the hurden of women unless they can be brought to the attention at-tention of women. Thus, greater ad vertising is done through the ability of women in placing these great electric elec-tric conveniences in the home. The woman can gain entrance to the home, which of course enables her to fully explain the great advantages de rived from the use of these modern conveniences. She is therefore able to assist tne housewife in planning ways and means by which she can arrange ner nome to make it most convenient The saleslady createst an interest in these appliances, and is able to show the time and labor saved by naving tnem. The wife Is Indeed pleased with these modern inven tions, which of course save her time and energy, and thus enables her to devote more attention to the care and education of her children. When an eiectric appliance of any kind Is placed In the home the efficiency of the housewife Is greatly enhanced, ana tnus a great deal in the uplift . . . . ana Dewerment or numanlty. Thus great advertising Is done through the ability of women In being able to 1 - - 41 . . v uiese great electric conveni ences in the home. rm. laereiore, me woman's role In puDllc relations Is one of great im portance due to her ability to place tnese modern conveniences In the home, and thus reduce the labore of the housewife, and last but not least, to make the home more cheerful cheer-ful and pleasant By Jennie W.
