Allen, vocational agricultural agri-cultural instructor, attended the annual state convention o! the Future Farmers of America held in the Newhouse Hotel Friday and Saturday, Jess Bromley, local chapter president, was chairman of the banquet committee, chairman of the State Farmer applicants committee, and aided in register ing delegates. Richard Chipman! received theState Farmer degree having complied with ,the requirements re-quirements in his farm program, above average scholarship, and his numerous leadership activities activi-ties both in school and in the chapter. There were 48 boys in the state who received the degree this year. Lynn Harris was on official delegate and Floyd Vest attended as a visitor. Midvale 0192-R1 High School Selects Mystery Comedy "Tiger House", a mystery comedy in three acts is the play selected toy the members of the Kappa Delta Alpha, dramatic organization or-ganization of the high school, to be produced late this month. .Try-outs for the ten parts in the play, five male and five female, were held the first of the week and a careful selection has resulted re-sulted in a cast which no doubt will give a commendable presentation presen-tation of the play. Miss Beth Ovard of the speech department is the adviser of KDA and will coach the play. Services were held in Lund Thursday of last week Mrs. Reid was the mother of the late Mrs. Clarenr.p f.Tessipl Burgess, Alpine, and had sDerit a great deal of time in Alpine a tew years ago. Going to attend the services were Bishop Edward W. Burgess, who was one of the speakers, and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Reid Burgess, Mr. and Mrs. G, Dale Burgess, Alpine, and Mrs Lee (Ann Burgess) Robison.
