Members of the Fort Wall Camp of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers were entertained Thursday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. May Bone. Following the lesson, which was given by Mrs. Beth Young, refreshments refresh-ments were served to fourteen members. Mr. and Mrs. Wane Christensen spent the week-end in Ephraim visiting with Mr. Clarence Thompson Thomp-son and family. Mr. Christensen went hunting and was successful in bringing home the largest buck that has been checked out of the Mantt National Forest Reserve In the last two years. It was a seven pointer and weighed 275 pounds. Mrs. Darrow Schow and daughter, daugh-ter, June, and Miss Nora Brown of Magna, Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Chip-man' Chip-man' and son, Richard, of American Amer-ican Fork were Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Parley Austin. Mr. I. L. Lott, who is employed at Coalville, (spent the Jweek-endl visiting iwth his family- Mrs. Mary Walton of Salt Lake City visited Thursday and rrway at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Bateman. Wing enter tained at dinner Tuesday evening in honor of Leo Russon, who Is leaving November 12 for the Northern North-ern States mission field. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Russon and son, Dale, Marvin Wing, the guest of honor and the host and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Conway of Salina, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bate man of Alpine, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peterson, Mrs. Joseph Fage and Miss Lucile Halliday of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. William Skinner and daughter, Fay, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fage, Thursday. The' occasion was in honor of Mr. Page's birthday anniversary. Mr. E. G. Hunsburger arrived in Lehi Tuesday evening from Ketchikan, Alaska, He has been in Alaska since the month of June and is en route to his home in Port Huron, Michigan. While in Lehi he will visit with the Winn family. Mrs. Eueene Beers and sons, Garry and Kent, and Mrs. Remain Clark and son, Ronald, of Midvale visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. George F. Barnes. Mrs. E. N. Webb visited Wednesday Wednes-day In Spanish Fork with Mr. and Mrs- Cecil Webb. Mr. and . Mrs. I. L. Lott and daughter, Lois, arrived home Tuesday Tues-day following a three weeks' vaca-tio vaca-tio ntrip to the Northwest. They visited in Spokane, at the Grand Coulee dam, in Seattle and Bremerton. Bremer-ton. At Seattle they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Timpson and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Brown and families. After leaving Washington they traveled through Oregon and the Red Wood forests to San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Holleywood, and Los Angeles, California. They enjoyed a visit at Camp San Luis Obispo with the Lehi boys and spent one day and night at Las Vegas, Nevada. They visited other interesting points along the way and report a wonderful trip. ; Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Ivory of Salt Lake City visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Taylor. They were en route to Los Angeles, California, Cali-fornia, on a business and pleasure trip. Mrs. Nile Washburn was admitted to the American Fork hospital last week for medical treatment Mrs. Dean Van Wagoner attended the Utah Federation of Womens Club program and tea held in the ballroom of the Hotel Utah, Monday. A Hallowe'en dance will be given Friday night in the high school gymnasium. It will be free to the senior high students and twenty-five twenty-five cents to the junior high students stu-dents and the public. Thursday night, October 23, Miss Thurman read the play, "The Watch on the Rhine," by Lillian Hillman, dealing with anti-Nazi activities, ac-tivities, to the Auctus club. October Octo-ber 29 she read the same play to the Athenian club. Both clubs enjoyed en-joyed it very much. The Social club enjoyed a Hallowe'en Hallo-we'en party at a so-called haunted house, Friday night. Doughnuts and apple cider were enjoyed by the fifty-seven present.
