There seems to be a growing tendency ten-dency for fault finding, criticism and discontent. As one having had experience as a public servant and now being a common citizen on the side line, I have an opportunity of hearing the complaints and criticisms. criti-cisms. I wonder If It Is not becom ing a habit. For one, I want to publicly acknowledge an appreciation apprecia-tion for the splendid things that are being accomplished in our city. I want to congratulate the Mayor and all City officials for the splendid work they are doing. We have kicked a little about the torn up roads because of the dust and dirt in front of our houses, but now we have what I believe will be a good road for a long time to come on 1st East, and before another week or so Center Street will also be completed, thereby putting nearly all of the main traveled streets in town in excellent condition. The Wines Park Is in splendid condition condi-tion and a beauty spot of which any citizen can be proud. Our new City Marshal Is looking after the work splendidly and he and Mr. Racker, the Night police are working hand in hand for the protection and safety safe-ty of the citizens of Lehl and so all together I feel that we have a lot to appreciate. Lets try to point out the good things to life and support those in authority. G.S. P.
