The Lehl boys outplayed the Provo Pro-vo team all through the game. Provo Pro-vo led T-4 at the end of the first quarter but gained the lead at the end of the next quarter. Wofflnden, Hunt and Peterson did stellar work for Lehi. Provo, led by Menlove and Overly, took an early lead, holding a 7-4 margin at the quarter, but the Pelicans started playing and forced to the front at 8-7, moving1 on to a 12-7 lead at the half and sewing up matters with a scoring spree in the third quarter. Centers Peterson, Lehi. These are the mythical basketball teams selected by the Provo Hsrald made up of the outstanding players in the Alpine division this year, Not in every game have they excelled, perhaps, but a careful check up of the records will show that these boys have played the most consistent consis-tent ball through, the season and have earned the right to appear on the honor team. Glen Chilton of Lehi, high scorer of the division unquestionably has earned the right to a position and after the other forwards have been sifted through it can be seen that none other than his running mate, Wofflnden. must be placed at the other post. LaVar Kump of Provo has made an amazing spurt in the past three-games three-games and has shown a rustling ability; that readily puts him on the second: team, although he falls short of a first-team berth. Cleon Menlove of Provo is an outstanding out-standing center, his speed scoring ability, backboard work and jumping jump-ing give an edgs over the other pivot mem Peterson of this city has also played some good games and deserves honorable mention. Snow of B: Y. high has also turned in some-effective work along with Parker of American Fork. For one guard position Don Overly of Provo high wins out without a struggle. The other guard position presented somewhat of a problem, Oldroyd of B. Y. barely squeezing out Lee Ronnow of Lincoln, who has played' consistent ball, especially espec-ially in view of the fact that he has been with a losing team. Levi Hunt' of this city has likewise like-wise been doing well, scoring high in several games. JAY WHITMAN" OUTSTANDING PERFORMER FOR T" CREW Jay Whitman of this city, a student stud-ent of the Brigham Young university, univer-sity, receives high praise by the coach of the "Y" basketball team, Ott Romney.
