Miss Zina Anderson, Miss Cleo Larson and Mrs. D. W. Larson were Provo visitors on Friday. Archie Taylor of Garfield spent Sunday here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James X. Taylor. Miss Blanche Larson, who is teaching school in Bingham, visited in Lehi over the week-end. Carlos Coates of Park City has been spending a few days here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Coates. On Friday Mr. Charles L. Johnson John-son and daughter, Lucile, and Mr. C. F. Johnson were visiting in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Richins of Pleasant Grove were visiting in Lehi Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Forest For-est Littleford. Mr. and Mrs. Lett Russon, Mrs. George Russon and Erastus Russon were in Salt Lake City Monday, doing do-ing temple work. Mrs. Leroy Lott spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake City, visiting with her daughters, Ruth and Evelyn Lott and Mrs. Irvin Fox. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Littleford srent Sunday in Pleasant Grove, visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Ira Dev-ereaux Dev-ereaux and Mrs. Mark Richins. Lynn Webb, who is attending the university of Utah, was home to spend the week-end with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber C. Webb. Mrs. T. F. Kirkham and daughters, daugh-ters, Phyllis and Bonnie Jean, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Mc-Call Mc-Call in Salt Lake City, Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Sarah E. Gaisford and daughters, Elsie and Essie, and Mr. and Mrs. Alex D. Christofferson were visiting in Spanish Fork last Wednesday. Mrs. LaMar Powell of Santaquin has been visiting here for the past few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Gardner. Mrs. Powell was formerly Miss May Terry of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lott entertained enter-tained Monday; evening, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Lott. Guests were Raymond Gwynn, Miss Susie Crocket of Salt Lake City, Lawrence Law-rence Burmester and Miss Cora Brown of Grantsville. Friends in this city will be pleased to hear that a fine baby boy arrived ar-rived to' gladden the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Coffman of Spring-ville, Spring-ville, Monday evening. The mother, formerly Miss LaPriel Crabb, of this city, and the new arrival are reported re-ported to be doing nicely. The Primary officers and teachers teach-ers of the Fifth ward were entertained enter-tained at the home of Mrs. E. B. Garrett last Wednesday evening. Business was taken up, and the teachers training lesson given, after af-ter which dainty refreshments were served. Ten officers and teachers were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beck and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beck, Mrs. Birdie DuBoise, Miss Virginia Woods, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jcthn-and Jcthn-and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, all of Salt Lake City were among those from out-of-town who came to attend the wedding party held for Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Evans, last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Mrs. S. J. Taylor and Mrs, Emma Jane Roberts, in company with Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hart of Mid vale, en-Joyed en-Joyed a trip to Las Vegas and Boulder Boul-der City, Nevada, last weekend. They spent Saturday in Las Vegas and Sunday they viewed the Boulder Dam site and Boulder City. They went down into the bed of the or iginal Colorado River and went on top of the Colorado canyon, viewing view-ing the dam from this point. FORD TO BUILD HUGE EXPOSITION AT THE 1934 CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR if i ' I ? ?f 1 ' V i 7 1 mum A GREAT Ford Exposition, por- traying the tremendous part th arts, sciences and virtually every other industry plays In the manufacture of today's motor cars, is planned by the Ford Motor Company Com-pany for the 1934 World's Fair. The Ford Exposition will be housed in a giant building 860 feet long to be built in the heart of the fair grounds on an 11-acre plot bordering bor-dering Lake Michigan and flanking the main fair boulevard. Construction Construc-tion of the building will start Mar. 1. . In the dominant , central building will be housed Henry Ford's "Drama of Transportation," depicting the development of wheeled vehicles from ihe chariots of ancient Egyptian Egypt-ian kings to modern motor cats. Every model of Ford car made since i9 ;IU b tacloded. In the smaller building to the left will be boused some of the priceless historic exhibits from the' Edison Institute at Dearborn, Mich., including includ-ing the one-story brick workshop, complete with the original tools, where Mr. Ford in 1893 built with his own hands his first motor car.
