Mr. and Mrs. Victor Smith visited In Provo one day last week with Mra. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mra. Edward Carter, Mrs. Franklin Jackson spent last week in Dlvldond, visiting relatives while her husband wai on a hunting hunt-ing trip. Mr. Clifton Jackson of Modeaa, has been here for a week on a business busi-ness trip. During his atay he haa been visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jackson. Mr. Samuel Jackson left List Friday Fri-day for Blackfoot, Idaho, where he will be employed by the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Sugnr Company during the fall campaign. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Anderson of I'.urley, Idaho, spent several day of last week vlwlting with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Trinnaman. Mrs. Anderson Is Mrs. Trlnnaman's slater. Mrs, Joseph Glover and son, Arthur, spent three days of last week at Levan. Arthur spent the time "hunting deer and was successful success-ful in shooting a large one and Mra. Clover visited with her sister, Mrs. J. L. Francom. Friday evening Miss Emily Carson, Car-son, Agnes Phillips and Mrs. Ines Peterson entertained their Bee Hive class at a unique hallowe'en party at the.home of Miss Phillips. Clever hallowe'en decorations adorned the home and the evening was gayly spent in playing numerous numer-ous hallowe'en games. Schow, which took place last Thursday in the Salt Lake temple. The entertainment consisted of a program, followed by dancing. The- program included a reading by Miss Mary Hardy, a violin solo by Miss Haru SDeer of Salt Lake City, a reading by Mrs. E. R. Speer, a reading by Peter Schow and talks by the bride and groom. Frank Sharp acted as Master of ceremonies. Dancing was enjoyed until 12 o'clock and delicious refreshments were served to a large crowd. Many beautiful gifts were presented to the, young coupie.
