The Old Testament class of the Third Ward Sunday School, with their teachers, Arnold Brems and Dale Hadfield, enjoyed an outing to Saratoga, Wednesday evening. After a delightful swim, they enjoyed a delicious lunch. Mr. Clifton Jackson of Modena, visited in Lehl from Saturday until Wednesday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Jackson. Harold Whitcomb and Donald Amberson in company with their lady friends of Ogden, called to visit with Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Johnson John-son on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Mousley of Bluffdale are the proud parents of a baby girl, born Sunday evening. Mrs. Mousley was formerly Miss Nora Caisford of this city. Mrs. Ella Manning, Mrs. S. J. Taylor and Mrs. Phoebe Brown were among those who attended Relief Society Convention in Am erican Fork on Tuesday. Mrs. E. B. Garrett and children and Mrs. E. T. Thornton of Delta, motored to Provo on Saturday and attended the B. Y. U. Invitational track and field meet. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Koer and two children of Lynndal, arrived in Lehi Wednesday and will remain until Monday, as guests of Mrs. Koer' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvln Johnson. "' Mr, and Mrs. Booth Sorenaon have moved to Provo to make their home. They left Saturday. Mr. Sorenson is employed in the Utah Power and Light office there. Friends will be sorry to hear that Mrs. Jennie Patrick is suffering with a broken arm. She was paint ing her cupboard and accldently fell, breaking her arm. O. F. The party included Mr. and Mrs. Julius Otterson, Julius Jen-son, Jen-son, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. Jlzer Wanlass, Mr. and Mrs. James Goygh, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas ' Trinnaman, Mr, .and Mrs. Victor Gaisford, Mr.' and Mrs. Ed Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. A. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. J. u. Barn hart. A short business session was held and a splendid program given, after af-ter which delicious refreshments were served. The Sunshine Committee of the Fifth Ward entertained at a social Wednesday afternoon In honor of Mrs. Lenora Beveridge and Mrs. Brown, at the home of Mrs. Beveridge. Beve-ridge. A short program was given as follows: Solo by Mrs. J. W. Wing, violin selection by Mr. James Smuln, a vocal solo, "Darling I Am Growing Old," by Miss Ada Phillips and speeches and Jokes by the various vari-ous members of the group. After the program dainty refreshments were served. Eighteen ladles were present Hospital Notes Mrs. Lowell Brown and new baby son were removed home Saturday from the local hospital. Mrs. Oral Evans and new baby girl were taken home on Sunday and Glen Wofflnden was removed to his home Sunday, following an appendicitis operation. Dolhert Sud weeks of American Fork was in the Lehi hospital from Wednesday until Sunday, receiving treatment for broken ribs, sustain ed when a wagon run 1 over his chest. Miss Evelyn Lott had her ap pondlx removed at the local hospital on Saturday. Kldon Holmstead underwent a successful appendicitis operation at the hospital, Saturday morning. People's Co-op. Purchases New Delivery Truck The People's Co-op have pur chased a new Ford delivery truck and are now using it on their delivery de-livery routes. It is a closed in model, blue in color and trimmed In red and gold. On the outside of the truck "People's Co-op." Is printed. It is a very beautiful little truck and is sure to be more convenient and add to the service of the many patrons of the store. Guy I Reese Is the driver of the new truck, . 0 Sportsment of Lehi Everyone Interested In stocking the Mill Pond with rainbow trout and supplying Lehl with pheasants will kindly meet with the local game association Friday night at 8 o'clock at the Memorial Building. Poultry Meeting Friday Night John Goodwin, president of the local poultry association, announces that the regular poultry meeting will be held Friday evening, May 1, in the Memorial building, commencing commenc-ing promptly at 8 o'clock. Special business of the association will be taken up. All poultrymen of Lehl and any others interested are cordially cord-ially invited and urged to be in attendance. PHONE 122 A collection of from 400 to 500 mineral specimens has been pre sented to the Nature History museum at the B. T. U. of Provo by Mr. William F. Butt of this city, father of Prof. Newbern I. Butt, B. Y. U. research worker and librarian. Mr. Butt has made the assembling of minerals, a hobby all of his life and his collections contain rare objects ob-jects from all parts of the globe. Some of these, of course, have been sent to him, but most have been gathered by him from the-ranges he has visited.
