Your prompt arrival no doubt prevented, what would otherwise have been a most disastrous fire, owing to a stiff wind that was blowing at the time. Stay we compliment you on your quick run j as it seemed but three or four minutes after we gave the . alarm, until you were en the grounds and ready for action. ; '"v' ' ' -?;!. : ... Kindly accept our thanks for your services. Also to our friends and neighbors, who were on hand to assist, and particularly are we grateful to Mrs. Margaret Kirkham, who discovered the blaze first, and who under a heavy handicap, carrying her little daughter, ran to notify us of the peril. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST We are grateful to the Lord and to all those who helped us, in the recovery of our goods, from the wholesale robbery of approximately two thousand dollars worth of merchandise, that was unlawfully taken from our store on Main street, on the night of March 29, 1931, ! , - ' : To Mightwatchman James Zimmerman who discovered dis-covered the clue which led to the recovery, to Marshal Mar-shal Christofferson, to the County officials, and to: the efficient services of Detectives "Chick" Olson, formerly a Lehi boy, and his Pal Leland Daley of the Salt Lake Police department, and to any others that assisted in the recovery, in any way, we are highly appreciative and thankful. We also extend our thanks and appreciation to our friends in Lehi and everywhere, for their kind words of sympathy and wishes for and hope of recovery re-covery and their assurance of their good will and . continued patronage. To the wholesale houses of Utah and elsewhere who showed their faith in our business, even under what appeared to be a severe handicap. To the traveling salesmen of whom we buy goods, and others oth-ers of whom we never have bought and who offered their services and good will, to all we are thankful.
